AD 011 - Fine

Plaster Re-Profile Layer

Description

AD 011 is a ready-to-use modified flexible polymer compound to re-profile uneven substrates, workability and strength enhancement that is specially formulated as a superior substitution to traditional methods. It is designated as general-purpose such as wall finishing and as well as fill up joint area.

Surface Preparation

Remove all loose materials or traces of foreign materials and ensure surface cleaned, free of dust and dirt. It is recommended to re-profile wall substrate prior to the application of AD 011 modified polymer coat. Applied as base coat is also recommended to be installed first on concrete, skim coated, painted, wood and steel substrate prior to application of AD 011 modified flexible polymer compound.

Application

AD 011 can be applied by trowel and notch trowel. It is ready to use and should be modified by additional of 10% clean water for rolling application. Application substrates such as finished wall, concretes, woods, steels autoclaved aerated concrete and etc. can be applied on wall and overhead substrates.

AD 013

Plaster Contact Layer

Description

AD 013 is a polymer dispersion mixed with quartz sand and is characterized by its good alkali resistance. It is used as a bonding layer for mineral plaster on smooth, membrane type substrates.

AD 013 is suitable as bond improving base-coat for plasters based on gypsum, lime and cement substrate.

Its application is particularly recommended on very dense and smooth concrete substrate, highly absorbent materials such as mortar, etc and for application for dry plaster. AD 013 reduces the absorbency of mineral substrates and therefore prevents the plaster applied from overheated caused by high rapid water evaporation during curing process.

Surface Preparation

The substrate must be clean, free from grease, paint, contamination and loose particles. Soft or weak bonded substrate must be removed.

Application

Can be applied by brush, roller or spraying application. It is ready to use (add 10%) of clean water for spraying application. Stir before use. Allow 2 to 3 hours for material to cure prior to receive next layer of application

AD 015

Modified Cementitious Tile Filler

Description

AD 015 is high performance tile filler. It is designed for the strains of permanently stressed areas such swimming pools, facades tile-on-tile refurbishment, re-surfaces old substrate.

Application

The processing time is approximately 1.5 hours. Apply a thin contact layer onto the substrate with flat side of a trowel. Right after this use the trowel to spread the right amount of adhesive evenly.

Properties

AD 015 is a cementitious yet slightly flexible power tile filler adhesive with very high pull off strength and excellent workability. The material already contains dry polymers in power form which makes the usage of additional latex unnecessary.

Substrate Requirement

The substrate must be clean, solid, stable, free of any loose particles like dust and grease, oil, paint, cement lime, tar, bitumen or release agent which might affect the adhesion.

Advantage

Mixing

Mix AD 015 with clean, fresh water only.  For one 25kg bag approx. 7.5-8.0 litres of water is require. Add gradually the powder to the water while mixing to achieve a lump-free mix. Use slow speed drill mixer (400 – 500 rpm) and mix for a minimum of 3 minutes to produce a homogeneous consistency. After a maturity time mix the material again for 1 minute to attain long workability. Material which is already setting must not be mixed again or diluted as this will affect the final properties.

Setting Time

Installed with AD 015 can be receiving another   layer of application approximately 24 hours.

Consumption

The consumption varies with the application method as well with particular kind of trowel or notched trowel

AD 016

Water-Based Impregnator For Water Repellent

Description

AD 016 is water-based type water repellent and consolidate for mineral substrates. It is practically free from volatile organic components (VOC) and non-flammable.

Properties

AD 016 is intended for waterproofing of mineral substrates. It can be applied on cementitious tile grout to prevent water seeping through the joint. The amount applied subject to a large extent on how absorbent the substrate is and should be tested in advance. Applied treatment coat of 1 – 2 coats for normal substrate, however for certain substrate require more treatment coat, it will vary depending on porosity, dense and absorbent substrates.

Surface Preparation

The substrates must be clean, frost-free and load bearing, free from grease, paint, separating agents and loose particles. Substrates must be dry and clean in order to ensure deep penetration.

Application

AD 016 can be applied by spraying, painting, rolling and brushing. It is ready to use .Stir before use. Allow 2 to 4 hours for material to cure and for hydrophobic properties within 24hours.

AD 016 not recommended use at substrates temperature below +5°C.

General Remark

All times specified are based on +23º C and 50% relative humidity. Highly temperature and low humidity increase, low temperatures and higher humidity decrease working time and drying time.

Plastiszing Additive for Site Mix Mortar

Description

APM is an additive specially designed for site mix preparation of high plasticizing powder additive in both internal and external wall plaster application. It is blend of plasticizing and thixotropic agents which greatly enhances the workability and quality of ordinary site mix. It is light weight and has extended working time for curving and shaping operations to meet detail finishing requirement on site.

APM when added to site mix gives a modified consistency which to optimizes pumping and spraying operations to greatly improve site productivity. It enables wet mortar be applied in single operations to a thickness up to 100mm vertically. It is also designed to reduce plastic and shrinkage cracks and enhances the weathering properties of external wall finishing and its paintworks.

Advantage

Surface Preparation

Receiving substrate surface shall be clean and free of dirt and oil and other contaminants. For concrete substrate, it is recommended that a splatter dash or key coat be provided prior to application of mortar. For continuous thick sections exceeding 50mm, use of wire mesh reinforcement is recommended.
