AD 013
Plaster Contact Layer
Description
AD 013 is a polymer dispersion mixed with quartz sand and is characterized by its good alkali resistance. It is used as a bonding layer for mineral plaster on smooth, membrane type substrates.
AD 013 is suitable as bond improving base-coat for plasters based on gypsum, lime and cement substrate.
Its application is particularly recommended on very dense and smooth concrete substrate, highly absorbent materials such as mortar, etc and for application for dry plaster. AD 013 reduces the absorbency of mineral substrates and therefore prevents the plaster applied from overheated caused by high rapid water evaporation during curing process.
Surface Preparation
The substrate must be clean, free from grease, paint, contamination and loose particles. Soft or weak bonded substrate must be removed.
Application
Can be applied by brush, roller or spraying application. It is ready to use (add 10%) of clean water for spraying application. Stir before use. Allow 2 to 3 hours for material to cure prior to receive next layer of application
Advantage
- Ready to use
- Water repellent
- Improves adhesion
- Strengthening substrates
- Minimize sagging during application

AD 015
Modified Cementitious Tile Filler
Description
AD 015 is high performance tile filler. It is designed for the strains of permanently stressed areas such swimming pools, facades tile-on-tile refurbishment, re-surfaces old substrate.
Application
Properties
AD 015 is a cementitious yet slightly flexible power tile filler adhesive with very high pull off strength and excellent workability. The material already contains dry polymers in power form which makes the usage of additional latex unnecessary.
Substrate Requirement
The substrate must be clean, solid, stable, free of any loose particles like dust and grease, oil, paint, cement lime, tar, bitumen or release agent which might affect the adhesion.
Advantage
- No additive or latex require
- Excellent adhesion
- Excellent workability
- No vertical slip
- Highly flexible
- For internal and external use
- For facades, balconies and terrace
- For tile-on-tile refurbishment
Mixing
Mix AD 015 with clean, fresh water only. For one 25kg bag approx. 7.5-8.0 litres of water is require. Add gradually the powder to the water while mixing to achieve a lump-free mix. Use slow speed drill mixer (400 – 500 rpm) and mix for a minimum of 3 minutes to produce a homogeneous consistency. After a maturity time mix the material again for 1 minute to attain long workability. Material which is already setting must not be mixed again or diluted as this will affect the final properties.
Technical Data
- Wet Density: approx. 1.65 kg/litre
- pH-value: ca. 11
- Mixing ratio: 25 kg: 7.5-8.0 lit of water
- Max Layer Thickness: 8mm
- Placing of Tiles: within 30min after spreading adhesive
- Solvents: None
Setting Time
Installed with AD 015 can be receiving another layer of application approximately 24 hours.
Consumption
The consumption varies with the application method as well with particular kind of trowel or notched trowel
Packing & Storage
- Pot Life: approx. 90minutes at 25 ºC
- Packing: 25kg paper bag

AD 016
Water-Based Impregnator For Water Repellent
Description
AD 016 is water-based type water repellent and consolidate for mineral substrates. It is practically free from volatile organic components (VOC) and non-flammable.
Properties
AD 016 is intended for waterproofing of mineral substrates. It can be applied on cementitious tile grout to prevent water seeping through the joint. The amount applied subject to a large extent on how absorbent the substrate is and should be tested in advance. Applied treatment coat of 1 – 2 coats for normal substrate, however for certain substrate require more treatment coat, it will vary depending on porosity, dense and absorbent substrates.
- Especially suited as water repellent for low-fired clay products (e.g. roofing tiles, common bricks, floor tiles, terracotta) as well as various natural stones, sandstones and gypsum
