AD 017 - Super Flor Chemical
High-Performance Floor Screed Chemical
Description
AD 017 is a synthetic chemical specially formulated based on the latest additive technology to enhance the overall performance of screeds.
AD 017 is mixed with Ordinary Portland Cement and quartz sand for production of high-quality and cost-effective screeds. Mix-in-situ screeds with better workability and higher compressive strength are achievable with moderate cement content and lower overall cost. Apart from this, other benefits include reduced shrinkage cracks and improved screed finishing.
The application areas cover new building screeds, repair of damaged floors and topping of undulating concrete slabs
Product Properties And Benefits
- Liquid form
- For interior and exterior use
- Cost effective
- Excellent workability
- High early and ultimate strengths
- Optimized consistency for pumping application
Technical Data
- Mixing ratio :
- OPC : Sand : Water : AD017 = 25 kg : 150 – 200 kg : 14 – 18 lit : 500 ml
- Thickness : ≥ 25mm
- Compressive strength at 28 days : > 15 N/mm² (ASTM C109/C109M-16a)
- Water dosage (% to total weight) : ~ 8%, depending on sand type and moisture
Mixing
Mixing shall be carried out by mechanical means e.g. a mortar mixer. OPC and sand are first poured into the mixer followed by clean water and AD 017. The whole content is mixed for minimum 3 minutes until a homogeneous mortar consistency is obtained. Avoid prolonged mixing once the desired consistency is achieved. Depending on the ambient condition, the mixture should be consumed within one hour for best workability. For mortar which has set, do not re-temper by mixing in additional water as this will adversely affect the final properties.
Placing The Screed
Place the fresh mortar using a wooden or aluminum straightedge following standard construction practice
Curing
The freshly laid screed should be cured for at least 7 days prior to receiving tiles or other coverings.
Packaging And Storage
